Dr. Manmohan Singh, our Hon’ble Prime Minister, during his speech on the eve of Independence Day from Red Fort, New Delhi said, “The funds for special scheme taken-up for the development of minority concentration districts have been enhanced quite substantially this year.” He said, “we do not subscribe to the view that to take special care of the deprived sections of the society amounts to appeasement. In fact, we believe that it is our solemn duty to do so.”
The interesting point is that, a person converted to Islam, will be included into the deprived section and thus will get benefit from special privileges. But a Hindu will be counted as developed one because he is Hindu. Do we agree with this view?
Mr. Prime Minister hails from Pakistan (pre-Independence), where the Muslims are collecting jazia from Hindus. And here, we are providing a special budget to them. Why? Because, they are the vote bank for those political parties. Is it not? In case Mr. Pime Minister likes to go back to Pakistan he will be counted as a person from the most deprived section of a minority concentrated country. He will have to pay jazia tax there.
There should be a plan to raise the people who are really poor or Below Poverty Line (BPL) and it is already there. In this list even the Muslims are included. Then why there be any special provision on the basis of religion? Does the poverty comes through religion? If it is so, why should a person embrace Islam if it deprives people economically?
If a religion allows its people to marry four wives and have as many as 25 children how the richness will come to them?
In which direction the country is being led by the politicians? Are they not encouraging our people to embrace Islam to get extra privileges?
During the previous years, after independence, many of the districts of Assam turned to Muslim majority. Why this is happening? Are we analysing the situation? The day of Independence should be considered as a day of checking the different developments which are taking place in our country. Are we not heading towards one more Partition as it happened in 1947 on the basis of religion? Are we not responsible for promoting Muslim majority districts in Assam? Muslims have already demanded for a Muslim state in Assam! Who are they? Are they not Bangladeshi Musims? Lt. Gen SK Sinha, the former Governor of Assam reported that 6,000 Bangladeshi Muslims are entering into India every day and most of them to Assam only, to convert it into an Islamic state.
The day it will come true, the whole of Assam will be counted as a most deprived State. Also it will get special provisions like Jammu and Kashmir along with Section 370. And we will thank our Prime Minister and the political parties for bringing special provision for the people of Assam which they are not getting now because they are Hindus.
