Pramukh Granthi of Gurudwara Hujurtaksal, Nanded, Sardar Gyani Hardip Singh called upon the countrymen to work unitedly for the protection of the country. He was inaugurating the all India meeting of VHP’s Dharma Prasar Samiti in Nanded on September 11. A total of 175 delegates from 33 Prants participated in the meeting. Akhil Bharatiya Pramukh of Dharma Jagran Samanvya Vibhag Shri Mukundrao Panashikar and central secretary of VHP Shri Mohan Joshi were also present.

Addressing the delegates Gyani Hardip Singh said Guru Govind Singh founded the Khalsa for the protection of the Hindu society from the atrocities of Mughals and such atrocities continue even today.

Shri Panshikar appealed to all Hindu organisations to work unitedly for the protection of the Vanvasis and downtrodden who are being targeted by Christian missionaries for conversion. He stressed the need to form Dharma Prasar Samitis in at least all the affected districts. He also drew the attention of the delegates on the kidnapping of Hindu girls and their forced marriages with Muslim youth. Shri Mohan Joshi stressed the need to have a strong youth power to prevent the forced conversion of Hindus into Christianity and Islam. VHP general secretary Dr Pravin Togadia stressed the need to start more service projects both in rural and urban areas.
