Taking strong exception to Congress-led UPA government'saccusation against Hindu organisations, popular Yoga Guru Ramdev lashed out at the ?secular brigade? for making use of phrases like Hindu terrorism. Spiritual guru Baba Ramdev, the man behind the Yoga revolution in India, has also come out in support of Sadhvi Pragya, who has been framed in the September 29 Malegaon blast. Stating that Sadhvi Pragya seems innocent, Baba Ramdev said he supports her.

The Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) arrested the Sadhvi alleging that her bike was found to have been used in the Malegaon blast. The ATS is treating the Sadhvi as the main culprit.

But it is no secret that the ATS of Maharashtra government has allegedly been acting under the instructions of the UPA government to defame and denigrate Hindu organisations by framing Hindu religious leaders in Malegaon bomb blast case. The world famous Yoga Guru strongly criticised the authority for the way they dealt with Sadhvi Pragya. Swamiji strongly condemned the behaviour of the authority with a sannyasini. He said the repeated brain mapping and four narco tests conducted on her appears to be a part of a larger conspiracy to declare her a terrorist.

?Has any other politician found accused in criminal cases been put through either narco or brain mapping,? asked revered Swamiji in a specially arranged press conference in national capital. The famous Yoga Guru was looking visibly irritant and angry for insulting a Hindu sannyasini now and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Jayendra Saraswati in the past and reflecting his anger he said: ?First it was Islamic terrorism, now Hindu terrorism and then will come political terrorism. It seems that something wrong is going on pertaining to the important issues of the nation like the security and I feel that the motive behind blaming the different organisations or religions is not pious and is politically motivated.?

Expressing his reservations on repeated brain mapping done on Sadhvi Pragya despite no revelation so far, Swamiji questioned the motive of the investigators. ?There is a deep sense of insecurity in the society looking at the developments in this case. Is this a fair treatment meted out to Sadhvi Pagya, who is also a Yoga teacher,? asked Swami Ramdev. He added, ?One can understand the level of insult, when her name cropped up in the Malegaon blast, only on the basis of suspicion she had gone through mapping and narco tests four times!? When asked whether Yoga performance by the Sadhvi affects the narco test for revealing the truth, Swamiji said: ?Yoga keeps the mind open and pristine. So it is baseless to blame Yoga for the failure of brain mapping and narco tests to point toward her involvement in terror activities. Merely on the basis of suspicion, she is being put on repeated trauma.?

On the eve of assembly elections, Swamiji rendered a yeoman'sservice by suggesting the common man to utilise their voting rights in a democratic society so that the honest leaders is elected to rule the great nation otherwise the corrupt and dishonest persons would enjoy the fruits of power and misguide the society. ?I urge the countrymen to exercise your voting right not only as a right but as a duty. By doing this the honest and sincere persons having noble heart and good character would be able to rule this great country. I also plan to start an agitation to make this issue a success, and in the coming days at the district-level we will have activists in thousands to fulfil this task at the grass roots level.? He added that we would not let those persons to rule the nation who do not have any human values, not rooted to the ethos of the nation but involved in corruption practices.

Giving a boost to the Swadeshi economy, Swamiji advocated to bring a revolutionary economy based on agriculture and he strongly criticised the MNCs for cheating the Indian society. He said: ?We will follow the Swadeshi system of treatment for a healthy Indian society.?

Baba Ramdev also strongly demanded to save the Holy River Ganga, which is under threat. He said that it was a good gesture that the River Ganga has been declared a national river, but still the movement to save the Ganga should continue. He informed that it was a concerted effort on part of Dr Pranav Pandya, Chief of Gayatri Pariwar, Shri Ramesh Ojha, prominent Hindu saint, and many other saints and organisations, who tirelessly and diligently worked for ?Save Ganga? movement.
