We all dream, some dream in their sleep, while some daydream. Here, in this book, the author talks of dreams in sleep.

Dreams have fascinated people of every age group since ancient times. In dreams, the fragments of reality get distorted and transformed to produce surrealistic episodes in the mind when asleep. How and why does this happen? Are dreams meaningless? Do they signify anything for the future? Do they originate in the subconscious mind?

The author, a well-known astrologer, tries to unravel the significance of dreams, which, whether true or not, are ?mystic creations of our miraculous mind?. The author says dreams reflecting our routine life are of no consequence and these include dreams about our meeting a person or an event in the society or club. Such dreams do not convey any meaningful message but if ?a person is shy, sensitive and religious but in a dream, he sees himself as a scoundrel or murderer, it is clearly a very significant message,? says the author. He also says dreams seen during 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. in the morning are found to come true.

Dreamology is the study of dreams, dealing with deciphering the central meaning of dreams which ?are of tremendous occult value and significance,? says the author.

Ancient Indian history talks of a sage who foresaw the incidents in life. Lord Buddha'smother Maya had dreamt of an elephant which signified Buddha'sbirth and who would become a well-known personality. Valmiki had predicted the arrival of Sita and the birth of her two sons, Luv and Kush.

The author categorises dreams according to people'sage:

* Young age dreams
* Middle age dreams
* Old age dreams

Young age dreams are fickle dreams and pertain to romance, passion and hidden desires of young boys and girls. Middle age dreams are mature and relate to worries, profession, ill health, family responsibilities, monetary issues, etc. Old age dreams are connected with God and are usually about death as this is what worries all old people. Old people may also see religious dreams.

The book addresses many questions that trouble the mind and suggests that prayers, daan (gifts), gems, vaastu and colour therapy can help us from seeing troublesome dreams.
