Rashtriya Sikh Sangat organised a Baisakhi Milan in New Delhi on April 27. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal was the chief guest. Speaking at the function he said harmony and nation-centered thinking are the roots of Khalsa. He said the history of struggle by Khalsa for unity and integrity of the country has been written in golden letters in history. Prof. Dhumal also released a special issue of Sangat Sansar, a house journal of the Sikh Sangat. RSS Delhi Prant Sanghachalak Shri Ramesh Prakash was also present on the occasion. Sant Baba Iqbal Singh of Badoo Sahib spoke on spirituality of Khalsa. Dr Swami Rameshwaranand Hari of Nirmal Panth, Pushkar (Rajasthan) spoke on Guru Gobind Singh, Nirmal Panth and Baisakhi. Baba Phumman Singh of Dera Baba Karam Singh, Swami Arvindanand of Udasi Pant, Sardar Prem Singh ?Sher?, Rashtriya Sikh Sangat president Sardar Gurcharan Singh Gill, Sant Bhai Karnail Singh Gharib (America) and Bhai Santokh Singh also spoke on the occasion. Sardar Virendra Singh Jauhar, president of Sangat Sansar Society, presided over the function.
