Not content with tasting the blood of five RSS nationalists in Kannur, the CPM, in the Capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, has turned its ire on an Orphanage run by the Seva Bharati

On April 19, an eight member CPM-DYFI-CITU gang rushed into the ?Ananthasai Balasadanam, with swords and axes in their hands and murderous and abusive language on their mouths. The caretaker of the orphan children an old lady, who tried to prevent them, was beaten, pushed to the floor and stamped. The secretary of the orphanage, Mohan, who rushed out was attacked with swords and axes. He was cut all over the body and blood pierced out on the table and walls. He fell down on a pool of blood. Thinking he has dead, they went away. The 32 inmates of the orphanage aged 6-14, started crying and shrieking loudly on seeing this gory scene. Many children fainted. This was a grim replay of the butchering and murder of BJYM leader Jayakrishnan, right in front of the tiny-tots, he was teaching.

The badly injured Mohan who was rushed to the Medical College Hospital and emergency surgery done. He is still critical.

The CPM goons destroyed flags of parivar organisations and burnt scores of flex- boards erected for L.K. Advani'svisit on April 27.

A few weeks back, Vishnu, A DYFI leader and goonda, who is involved in several under-hand land deals, was murdered by a rival goonda gang. The police and the CPM intentionally put this on the RSS'shead and falsely arrested some RSS cadres. The attack on the orphanage is a CPM retaliation for murder of its leader.

Many leading social, cultural organisations and media have blamed the CPM for converting the Capital into a goonda raj. The CPM leadership, including its state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, have stakes in several multi-storied complexes and flats, mushrooming throughout the state and it has hired goonda gangs to forcibly evict unwilling land owners.
