Punjab University unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad organised a blood donation camp on March 26 in Chandigarh. A total of 52 students donated blood to pay tribute to Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, who laid down their lives for freedom of the country. Shri Ramesh Pappa, secretary general of World Organisation of Students and Youth (WOSY) was the chief speaker. Shri Hiralal Mahajan, a social worker, presided over the function. Prof. Naval Kishor, Dean of the University, and Kumari Mukta Sharma, ABVP national executive member, were also present on the occasion.
