Senior writer and former managing director of Rashtradharam Prakashan, Manmohan Gupta passed away recently. He was 84. Born on October 20, 1923 in Jhalawar (Rajasthan) Manmohan Gupta completed BA honours from Delhi and he was selected for finance services of British government. But he left the job after a few months and joined the Revolutionary Party and actively participated in the Quit India Movement of 1942. He later completed MA from Prayag University. He was a lecturer in Eta College for some time but later joined Rashtradharma Prakashan as managing director. At that time Panchjanya was owned by Rashtradharma Prakashan in Lucknow. He was also associated with Jana Sangh as national executive member and also with Hindusthan Samachar from 1978 to 1982. (FOC)
