It is amazing that both English and Hindi editions of the book?Islam: A Concept of Political World Invasion by Muslims?written and published the senior Supreme Court advocate Shri R.V. Bhasin, an expert on Islamic law and history, have been banned by the Congress-led Maharashtra government on March 9, 2007. The police have confiscated all their copies from the publisher. Since its publication in 2003, thousands of their copies have been sold the world over with no complaints whatsoever. The author has also written three more books on political Islam, which are widely read and appreciated. It appears that the Maharashtra government is toeing the lines of Muslim appeasement policy of the UPA government at the Centre. This is totally against the freedom of expression provided in the Constitution.
