Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) organised symposiums, blood donation camps, health check up in slum and underdeveloped areas, eye check up and distribution of glasses camps, books distribution to economically deprived students, felicitation of talented students, organisation of adult literacy centers, social harmony meets, sahabhoj, etc. In order to enhance brotherhood among all sections of the society, the Sarvapanth Samadar Manch, an outfit of BMS, organised a big convention at Ajmer in March last year. The convention was inaugurated by Sarsangha-chalak Shri K.S. Sudarshan. A number of leading Muslim leaders participated in the convention.

A symposium on Bharat ko Jano, Bharat ko Mano, Bahrat ke Bano and Bharat ko Banao, was organised on July 23 in Jabalpur in which a large number of people participated. The death anniversary of Dattopant Thengadi, the founder of BMS, was organised as Samarasata Diwas across the country. Symposiums and workshops were organised across the country including Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, etc. on the foundation day of BMS on July 23.

A Cutting-Tailoring Centre for women was inaugurated by BMS president Shri Girish Awasthi at Veraval in Gujarat and 20 sewing machines were also given away to the needy women. Former BMS president Shri Hasubhai Dave was also present on the occasion. More than 450 people donated blood in the blood donation camps organised in Varanasi, Kanpur, Meerut and Gorakhpur. In Bihar, 140 people donated blood. Shri Udairao Patwardhan was also present on this occasion. Shri Girish Awasthi participated in a sahabhoj organised in the sewa basti of Patna.

Sarsanghachalak Shri K.S. Sudarshan participated in a three-day seminar organised in Nagpur on July 23. Shri Udairao Patwardhan and senior BMS leader Shri Raman Girdhar Shah were also present on the occasion. The Cement Mahasangh distributed books and copies to the economically deprived students. The Parivahan Mahasangh organised blood donation camp in Junagarh, Gujarat. Akhil Bharatiya Isapaat Mazdoor Sangh organised a workshop in which organising secretary of BMS Shri Omprakash Aggi participated. The BMS unit in Bokaro Steel Plant organised a blood donation camp. Akhil Bharatiya Khadan Mazdoor Sangh organised Samarasata Diwas in Dhanbad, Barkarkhana, Parasia, Charndrapur.  (FOC)
