Sachar stats only prove an old theorem Committee wants to take the trough to the horse

Apart from the above, Dr. Zakaria also wrote how Muslims must gird up their loins and prepare for reconciliation with the Hindus by accepting monogamy and family planning, singing Vande Mataram and denouncing Pakistani terrorists. But that vision was totally beyond the Sachar Committee'sinsight, if not also beyond the mandate given to it by Sonia Gandhi's?secular? government.

It is tragic therefore that Sachar'steam doesn'tseem to have either read Dr. Zakaria or deliberately ignored what he wrote. End result: it spent over a year totting up new statistics to prove an old theorem and in exploring how the available trough could be split and then shifted, never mind if the nation itself is split further than what it already is today.
