“Shri Guruji successfully established the view of social harmony during his life. Once, he told a swayamsevak that the day the last person of the society has tears of happiness in his eyes that day country would achieve param vaibhav, as propounded by the RSS in its daily prayer. The man-making work of RSS is based on the love and affection towards each and every person of the society. Shri Guruji shared this love and affection to all those who came into his contact,? said RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Mohan Bhagwat while releasing a novel on Shri Guruji?Yugantarkari, in New Delhi on January 9. The novel has been authored by noted Marathi writer Smt. Shubhangi Bharbhare who has so far authored more than 61 books. She had also written a novel?Parasmani?on Dr Hedgewar, which was published by the Prabhat Prakashan. Yugantarkari has also been published by the Prabhat Prakashan and is Hindi translation of Marathi novel?Idam Na Mama. Shri Bhagwat said during the birth centenary of Shri Guruji, a lot of literature has been published. But this novel has its own significance. The author has done a very courageous job since the topic of the novel is not an ordinary one. Quoting Shri Bala Saheb Deoras, the third Sarsanghachalak of RSS, he said Shri Guruji looked the same from far and near. ?It is very difficult to present such a life in words. The author Smt. Subhangi Bharbhare could do this work excellently as she knew Shri Guruji well and also the people who were very close to Shri Guruji and are still alive. But in such a situation it becomes very hard to say anything as the people who are alive compare it with the reality. Though at some place she has taken the help of imagination, she has presented the real picture of Shri Guruji,? Shri Bhagwat added. Describing the RSS as the biggest movement of 20th century, Shri L.K. Advani, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, said the people with high moral and character were produced by the RSS and Shri Guruji engaged such people in various sphere of life who later paved the way for all-round development of the country. He described Ramakrishna Mission as the biggest movement of 19th century, which gave an identity to Hindutva all over the world. ?Swami Vivekananda while addressing a gathering in 1897 in Madras had called upon the countrymen to leave aside their traditional deities and worship only Bharatmata for the next 50 years and it was just after 50 years in 1947 that the country achieved independence. Dr Hedgewar, keeping in view the need of people with high character, had started the RSS as a man-making factory, which produced a large number of people who are working in various fields of social life,? Shri Advani added. Swami Satyamitranand Giri, founder of Bharatmata Mandir, Haridwar and president of Shri Guruji Birth Centenary Year Celebration Committee, said the RSS is successfully creating the feeling of harmony in the society. ?I have attended a number of functions of the RSS and have found that people of all classes, castes and sections share meals with each other without any discrimination. It wonders me that at the time when we are planning to land on moon, there are caste-based conferences in the country. We must leave such a narrow tendency and think about the whole nation,? he said. Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Shubhangi Bharbhare said the life of Shri Guruji was like a rishi. ?This is not the official publication of the RSS. If there is any mistake, I own that. Shri Guruji is not among us today, his work has the capacity to change the era,? she added.  (FOC)
