P. Parameswaran turns 80

Padmashri P. Parameswaran, Director Bharatiya Vichar Kendram, President Vivekananda Kendra and senior most RSS Pracharak from Kerala turned 80 on Vijayadashmi day. One of the builders of the Jana Sangh, Param-eswaranji became its all India Vice-President at its national meet in Kozhikode, Kerala in 1967. He was also Director of the Deendayal Research Institute, New Delhi. Founder of Bharatiya Vichar Kendram in 1982, he has been the moving spirit in the ideological battle against the CPM in Kerala and the brain behind the Gita Movement, Bharatiya approach to research and in-depth studies in Indology. An author of several books in Malayalam and English, he has also travelled all over the globe projecting Hindutva.
