Hurriyat might cry hoarse that it has no links with gun-trotters and only believe in political resolution of Kashmir but the terrorist group Jamiate-ul-Mujahideen has made a sensational claim that Kashmiri separatists had turned down the Srinagar roundtable conference after prior consultation with the terrorist leadership.
In a faxed statement to local news agency KNS, the spokesman of the outfit without naming Umar Farooq-led Hurriyat Conference said that those ?wearing the tags of being moderate and open-minded and had entered into dialogue with New Delhi were regretful of their conduct after they learnt that their jinxy-jumps were futile?.
?The leaders have expressed their regret to terrorist leadership and their staying out from roundtable conference is an indication of the same,? the spokesman said. The spokesman also termed the Indo-Pak dialogue over Kashmir as futile in solving the Kashmir issue and said that the ?Jihadis? were strongly against the process.
The spokesman while rejecting the talks said that resolution to Kashmir issue lies only in ?bullets and bombs?. ?Masla-e-Kashmir Ka Hal Bandook Ki Goli Aur Bomb Ke Zarie Se Hi Mumkin Hai (it'sonly the bombs and bullets that can solve Kashmir issue),? the spokesman was quoted by KNS.
