Virat Hindu rally in Delhi

As part of the plan to organise more than 100 Hindu sammelans in Delhi during the birth centenary of Shri Guruji, Delhi unit of Shri Guruji Birth Centenary Celebration Committee organised two Virat Hindu Sammelans at Gandhinagar on April 17. More than 50,000 people from various sections of the society participated in the sammelans. Shri Indresh Kumar, member, Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini, Smt. Smriti Irani, noted TV artist and Swami Gyananand Maharaj were the prominent speakers at the sammelans held on April 17.

Describing Fatehr'sDay, Mother'sDay, Birthday and Valentine'sDay as the viruses of the West, Shri Indresh Kumar said if anything we should learn from the Western countries it is the punctuality of time, discipline and technology. Shri Surendra Jain, national secretary of VHP, said RSS is the only organisation that is working for making the society evil-free. Swami Gyananand Maharaj said the negligence of Hindu ethos has led to terrorism in the country. Smt. Smriti Irani said Bharat is identified in the world due to its unique qualities of its culture and samskars imparted in a family. ?Love, affection and care a person gets in his family in India is found nowhere in the world,? she added.

A similar sammelan was organised on April 10 also at Krishna Nagar Raghunath Mandir in which Sardar Joginder Singh, former CBI director, was the chief guest. He called upon the people to spare at least one hour daily for the nation. Shri Laxmandev, Uttar Kshetra Sharirik Pramukh, comparing Shri Guruji with Swami Vivekananda said his contribution for restoring the social harmony in the country would be remembered for long. Delhi BJP president Dr Harsh Vardhan also spoke on the occasion.
