BSNL sop for Orissa users
The Orissa postal circle has launched a novel service of collecting telephone bill payments from BSNL telephone subscribers at their door step, the first of its kind in the country.
Customers can now pay their telephone bills both landline and mobile at their office or residence to the local postman. The bill amount can be paid to the postman either by cash or demand draft with an additional charge of rupees five per telephone bill. The customers will be given a receipt against the payment.
Senior officers of the Orissa postal circle said BSNL telephone subscribers would now save time and energy in travelling to BSNL counters.
They requested the customers to avail the door-to-door service at a cost of rupees five only irrespective of the bill amount and help them by thus decongesting their counters as well. Presently, BSNL has 11 lakh telephone subscribers in the State.
