Surdas Jayanti celebration by Drishtihin Kalyan Sangh

Nagpur unit of Drishtihin Kalyan Sangh celebrated Surdas Jayanti on May 13 at Madhav Netra Pedhi. Speaking on the occasion Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi, Sahsarkaryavah of RSS and patron of Drishtihin Kalyan Sangh, said that Surdas developed shakti through bhakti. He called upon the visually challenged people to have inspiration from Surdas who won over the outer handicapness and presented an example before the mankind. Dr Kamlesh Kumar, joint organising secretary of the Kalyan Sangh, resovled to set up at least 100 eye banks in different cities of the country during the birth centenary year of Shri Guruji. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Shri Damodar Bapat, president of the Kalyan Sangh, Shri Avinash Sangvai, organising secretary, Dilip Kumar Ghosh, Rashtriya Sampark Pramukh, Prof. Vinod Ashudani, Rashtriya Prakalp Pramukh.
