Realising the need to activate the younger generation in the country to take on the responsibility to revive and uphold the cultural heritage, a function was organised by Samarth Shikha Samiti, in New Delhi on April 24. The event was presided over by Shri Laxmi Niwas Jhunjhunwala, a philanthropist and Shri Lalit Mahajan, an industrialist, was the chief guest. Prominent leaders of Samarth Shiksha Samiti, principals and managers of various schools were also present on the occasion. The function began with an invocation to Goddess Saraswati followed by ?Samarpan?, a mono-act play on Swami Vivekananda, enacted by Shekhar Sen, a multi-faceted performer. The play depicted the exciting life story of the great Indian saint. The audience was thrilled by Shekhar'sunique singing style and vocally showed its appreciation. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Dinanath Batra, vice president of Vidya Bharati, stressed the need to channalise the youths to rebuild India by following the path shown by great thinkers and philosophers.
