5,000 Christians return home

VSK

Over 5,000 Christians, including 14 Christian priests, belonging to about 100 villages of Etah district in Uttar Pradesh, returned to their original roots on Basant Panchami day. They decided to dedicate their 14 local churches for starting schools for their children. The function was organised by Dharma Jagaran Raksha Samiti in association with Arya Gurukul, Etah. The participant were welcomed by garlanding them and they also participated in a yajna. Central secretary of VHP, Shri Mohan Joshi, was also present at the function.

Centre should support the King of Nepal ?Dr Pravin Togadia

VSK

?If the King of Nepal had not imposed the Emergency in Nepal, the Maoists could have reached Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh in India. The Government of India should support the step taken by the King and extend all possible help to crush the Maoist militancy,? said Dr Pravin Togadia, general secretary of VHP. He was talking to mediapersons in Allahabad recently. He said the Congress had no moral right to talk about democracy as it had itself killed democracy in India. He said that with the help of China, the Maoists were becoming stronger and India needed to support Nepal at the moment. He warned that if India did not support Nepal, China could adopt the Tibetan policy there.
