Impressive pathsanchalan in Bhopal
Hindus need to introspect
By Arya S. Das

More than 16,000 RSS Swayamsevaks took out an impressive pathsan-chalan in Bhopal recently. The pathsanchalan that began from Central Library and Yaadgare Shahjehani Park in the old city marched through the busy roads and congested bylanes to reach the Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya ground.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Arun Jain, Madhya Bharat Prant Pracharak, asked the Hindus to introspect the wrongs they had committed on their own religion. He said, ?The presence of some Jaychands among Hindus is the greatest threat to the religion.? He warned the Hindus of the demographic changes in the country, which were similar to the period before Partition. He appealed to the Hindu community to awaken and save the nation from further disintegration and crush the Jaychands. More than 50 per cent of the participants in the meeting were youth below 22 years of age.

He said there had been growing realisation among Indian parents that the Western lifestyle had given birth to an insatiable greed for wealth, perverted lifestyle, frustration, unrest and diseases like AIDS. ?Indian planners spend crores of rupees on development and out of it more than 75 per cent money is pocketed by the middlemen. For five decades hundreds of committees have been constituted in the country to bring reforms in every field. But everything goes waste in the absence of quality human material. Good human beings are the products of the true practice of religion. This is being realised in the West as many universities have started teaching moral science to the students.? He added that shakhas would enhance the vigilance capacity of the society, and the solution to world peace lay in Hinduism. He asked the parents to closely examine the shakha system. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Babulal Gaur was also present at the function.
