Six days before Deepavali, the power supply to Chhattisgarh was reduced by the Centre, which led to major losses to the state government. So Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh along with all opposition parties decided to meet Union Minister for Power, P.M. Sayeed to discuss the matter. But when Dr Raman Singh along with other party leaders reached Delhi last week, he was told that the minister was busy and had no time for the delegation though there was a prior appointment. Later senior Congress leader, Motilal Vora understanding the seriousness of the issue managed to adjust some time with the minister and discussed the issue. But it was a clear discourtesy from the UPA minister Shri Sayeed.
