A function to celebrate golden jubilee of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) was organised in Jaipur recently. The function began with lighting of the lamb before the picture of Lord Vishwakarma. Speaking on the occasion, Shri S.N. Deshpande, co-incharge of BMS, said that the BMS had become the largest labour organisation of the country and an effective voice of the working class. Shri Dhan Prakash Tyagi, former organising secretary of BMS and senior Sangh Pracharak, was honoured by presenting him a shawl and a memento. Shri Bhavani Joshi, Minister of State for Health in Rajasthan government, appealed to the BMS activists to make the organisation the voice of the downtrodden section of the society.
