?A Sangh activist is supposed to renounce pride and all attachments when he enters the Sangh work. He should behave politely with his younger or same age group people and also his seniors. He must keep in mind that I am not an adhikari, but a responsible Swayamsevak. Everyone who helps in our work, is respectable for us. We can convey our ideals only with our selfless conduct. The Sangh shakha cannot become effective if the activists cannot leave the desired effect on the society,? said Shri Suresh Rao Joshi, Sahsarkaryavah of RSS. He was interacting with the Sangh Pracharaks and full time activists of the Sangh at Meerut Prant Sangh Shiksha Varg held in Dhampur recently. Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi, as Shri Suresh Raoji is popularly known, made it clear that politics could not help the Sangh in achieving its goal.
The RSS Sahsarkaryavah said, ?Only an increase in the number of shakhas would not bring the desired results. We have to develop such activists who can leave a lasting impact on the society through their conduct and indeed the Sangh work has increased only because of such people. Bhaurao Deoras dedicated himself so completely to Sangh work in northern India that he forgot his mother tongue, Marathi, also. This is called sacrifice of pride. We shall have to leave the thinking that I belong to a very big or reputed family, I am a big adhikari or I am more intelligent, etc,? he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ramlal, Kshetriya Pracharak said that we were not obliging anybody by doing the Sangh work, ?but we should feel grateful that the Sangh found us fit for doing its work and provided us the opportunity to do such holy work. I am following my ancestors and I should consider myself success only when people find me fit to follow. People closely watch the lifestyles, eating habits and behaviour of the Sangh Pracharaks. They call us sanyasis in white clothes. Our personality should be one step ahead of the common man and one step behind the respected sanyasis,? he said. Prant Pracharak, Shri Dinesh Kumar also spoke on the occasion.
