“One of the major problems the country faces today is shortage of dedicated and healthy patriots for nation building although our nation has a sufficient number of doctors, engineers, scientists, litterateurs and intellectuals. “The RSS, since its inception has been engaged in building the characters of individuals,” said Sahsarkaryavah Madan Das at the concluding ceremony of the second year Sangh Shiksha Varg, held at Kendrapara, Orissa. He said that “only troops at the border cannot give full security to a nation unless and until brotherhood and peace is created among the public which the Sangh is doing since 1925.” The 20-day Varg that began on May 16 had 91 shiksharthis in second year. The first-year Sangh Shiksha Varg was held at Nimapara, Puri where 259 shiksharthis were imparted training. Shri Sureshrao Ketkar, Shivram Mahapatra, Prant Sanghchalak, Ashok Das, Sah Prant Sanghchalak, Dr Bipin Behari Nanda, Prantkaryavah, Sunil Padgoswami, Kshetriya Pracharak, Indresh Kumar, Akhil Bharatiya Sahsampark Pramukh and Ajit Mahapatra, Prant Pracharak were among the prominent personalities who were present in the Varg.—Deepak Kumar Rath
