The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has decided to hoist saffron flags atop every home, shop and business establishment of Hindus all over the country on Varsh Pratipada, the Hindu New Year day, which falls on March 21. Crores of flags would be hoisted across the country. The VHP will distribute a Hindu agenda in every house of the country appealing to the people to vote only to the candidate who accepts the agenda. The agenda consists of twelve points?protection of Hindus, enactment of the law to hand over the Ramjanmabhoomi to Hindus, ban on cow slaughter and her progeny, cancellation of the acquisition of Hindu temples and maths, protection of the dignity of the pilgrimage centres, the implementation of Common Civil Code and repealing of Article 370.
