NEW DELHI: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for Sunday, October 11, warning commuters of possible restrictions, diversions and delays at several key locations across the national capital.

According to the advisory, traffic movement may be affected from 6 am onwards, depending on the situation on the ground. The advisory covers 30 intersections and road stretches, particularly across Central Delhi, New Delhi and areas surrounding Connaught Place.

The traffic restrictions come amid heightened security arrangements in the national capital following protests linked to electoral roll revisions and demands for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Security arrangements and protest-related restrictions had already affected traffic movement in parts of Central Delhi on Saturday.
