Exhibition showcases PM Modi’s journey through art
NEW DELHI: A special art exhibition showcasing the life, leadership and public journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was inaugurated at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC) in New Delhi, marking his 76th birthday.
Titled “Celebrating Leadership, Vision & Service through Art,” the exhibition features 76 original paintings portraying significant milestones and moments from Modi’s life and public career. Organisers said the initiative seeks to present his journey of public service through art, with a particular focus on engaging younger generations, including Gen-Z.
The exhibition has been organised jointly by the Vivekananda Youth Connect Foundation and the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
Renowned philanthropist and Lakhi Group Chairman Dilip Lakhi and Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati and the World Peace Centre, inaugurated the exhibition.
The event also marked what organisers described as 25 years of continuous service as the head of an elected government. A digital exhibition was launched on www.17september.in, while Lakhi unveiled the coffee table book “STHITAPRAJNY” during the ceremony.
Artists from different parts of the country who contributed works to the exhibition were felicitated for their artistic contributions, bringing together creators from across India to portray different facets of the Prime Minister’s public journey.
Among those attending the inauguration were Yogendra Chandolia, MP from North-West Delhi; senior BJP leader Shyam Jaju; Akash Patil, Director of DAIC; and Dr. Rajesh Sarvagna, founder of the Vivekananda Youth Connect Foundation.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until September 20, from 10 AM to 6 PM, at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, 15 Janpath Road, New Delhi.
