JAMMU: “Youth are the greatest strength of the nation, and their constructive efforts lay the foundation for a bright future”, said Arun Kumar, Sah Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at “Yuva Samvad” programme at Raya Morh, Jakh Samba, Jammu on March 24, 2025.

The central theme of the programme was “Om Rashtraya Swaha, Idam Rashtraya Idam Na Mama,” emphasising the spirit of selfless service, sacrifice, and dedication towards the nation.

In his address, he encouraged the youth to actively contribute to national development, fulfil their responsibilities with sincerity, and imbibe Bharatiya cultural values. He elaborated on three key aspects: the nature of the Sangh, its glorious 100-year journey, and the purpose of organising such a dialogue for youth.

Professor Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, also graced the programme as the chief guest. He highlighted the importance of education, moral values, and social responsibility, urging the youth to move forward with a positive mindset and innovative thinking. He remarked that wherever Sangh swayamsevaks are active, progress and positive transformation are inevitable.

Earlier, the programme commenced with an inspiring video presentation highlighting the 100-year journey of the Sangh. The video effectively showcased the sacrifices, dedication, and contributions of Sangh swayamsevaks from Jammu & Kashmir. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from distinguished members of society.

Discrimination and social evils originate in the human mind rather than systems alone
In another programme of “Pramukh Jan Goshti” on March 22 at Reasi, Arun Kumar emphasised that discrimination and social evils originate in the human mind rather than systems alone. He called for value-based social transformation through character building and collective strength.

Addressing the gathering, Arun Kumar recalled the glorious history of Bharat and highlighted how ancestors defended the civilisation against foreign invasions, preserving its cultural identity. He underscored the RSS’s century-long contribution to social upliftment through grassroots efforts such as daily shakhas, service activities, educational initiatives, and social reform programmes.

He noted that the RSS is often misunderstood when viewed superficially. The organisation is a broad social movement focused on nation-building through individual transformation.

He stressed that building strong individuals leads to a strong society and nation. He also said that the RSS does not compete with any organisation but works towards ensuring the safety, dignity, and unity of the nation.

Arun Kumar elaborated on the concept of Panch Parivartan, which focuses on social harmony, strengthening family values, promoting environmentally responsible lifestyles, encouraging Swadeshi-based self-reliance, and inspiring citizens to fulfil their duties towards society and the nation.

The event witnessed participation from social leaders, academicians, industrial representatives, and volunteers from across the district.
