NEW DELHI: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) unit of Law Centre II successfully organised “Naari Talks 2.0,” a speech competition aimed at empowering voices on women-centric issues and celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women in society. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, who eloquently presented their views on themes related to women’s empowerment, equality, and leadership. Women achievers of Law Centre II were also felicitated during the event for their outstanding performances across various fields. The programme recognised women toppers in academics, as well as those who excelled in sports and other co-curricular activities, celebrating their dedication, hard work, and all-round excellence. This felicitation aimed to acknowledge their achievements and inspire other students to strive for excellence in diverse spheres.
Participants showcased exceptional oratory skills, presenting insightful perspectives and inspiring ideas. The competition not only fostered awareness but also encouraged constructive dialogue among students. The event concluded with the felicitation of winners and participants, marking yet another successful initiative by ABVP Law Centre II in promoting student engagement and social consciousness.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Ashwani Sharma, Zonal Organising Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, who, in his address, highlighted the remarkable contributions of women in Indian history. He stated, “From Ahilyabai Holkar to Amrita Devi and Mirabai, Indian history is filled with inspiring examples of women who demonstrated courage, leadership, and dedication to society. Their lives continue to motivate the youth to work towards a strong, empowered, and self-reliant nation.”
