As part of the nationwide programmes marking the completion of 100 years of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), grand Hindu Sammelans are being organised at various locations across the country. In Noida alone, more than 100 such sammelans have been planned. Continuing this series, Hindu Sammelans were held at 16 locations across Noida on February 1. The objective of these gatherings was to strengthen organisation within Hindu society, promote social harmony, reinforce cultural awareness, and enhance consciousness of national responsibilities.
The grand Hindu Sammelan organised in Sector 122 commenced with a traditional 21-kund yajna. Addressing the gathering, Guruji Gautam Rishi stated that Hindus are not confined to Bharat alone, but are spread across the world. Special guest Chiranjeevi Kumar, Vibhag Pracharak of Noida, presented an overview of the 100-year journey of the RSS, emphasising that the programme was organised by Hindu society, for Hindu society, and of Hindu society. Chief guest, Mahant Prem Puri Ji Maharaj of the Dashanami Juna Akhara, blessed the audience and spoke on Hindu philosophy.
Dinesh Goyal, Mahanagar Sangh Sanchalak, called for positive transformation through the vision of Panch Parivartan, urging efforts to re-establish Bharat as a global guide through constructive change.
At Sector 47, a conference held in a park near Jagran School was presided over by Brigadier JK Narang, who spoke on the challenges facing the nation. The chief guest, Swami Shri Anandeswaranand Giri Ji Maharaj, elaborated on Hindu philosophical thought, while speaker Vijay Vahal, former art expert with the Delhi Government, addressed the gathering on Panch Parivartan.
Senior journalist and former Vice-Chancellor Baldev Sharma delivered the keynote address, noting that the consciousness awakened in Nagpur a hundred years ago has today spread to more than forty countries. He highlighted the Sangh’s significant contributions in fields such as education, religious and cultural work, labour organisations, and welfare initiatives for Janajatiya and forest-dwelling communities.
The grand Hindu Sammelan organised at Sarfabad emerged as a distinctive expression of devotion, patriotism, and community service. The event began with Vedic chants and ceremonial lamp-lighting in the presence of revered sants. From the stage, sants appealed for unity, social harmony, and the preservation of cultural values. Children formed the focal point of the programme, presenting captivating performances dressed as deities and national icons. Their enthusiasm infused the gathering with pride in faith and culture, drawing sustained applause from the audience.
In Salarpur, the Hindu Sammelan featured a grand staging of Shri Ramleela. The programme benefited from the guidance of Group Captain Tapesh Chaudhary, while Mahanagar Karyavah Satyendra Singh addressed the gathering on the theme of Panch Parivartan.
