“Today, the second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla is being celebrated on the sacred land of Ayodhya. This anniversary is a divine festival of our believe and traditions,” PM Modi said. He added that on this “holy and pure occasion,” he offered salutations at the feet of Bhagwan Shri Ram on behalf of Ram devotees in India and abroad, while extending best wishes to all countrymen.
Highlighting the historic journey behind the Ram mandir movement, the Prime Minister said that the “five-century-old resolve of countless Ram devotees” had finally been fulfilled by the boundless grace and blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ram. He noted that Ram Lalla is now “once again enshrined in his magnificent abode,” a moment that he described as deeply emotional and spiritually elevating for devotees worldwide.
PM Modi also drew attention to a significant new milestone associated with this year’s anniversary the dharma dhwaja at Ayodhya. He emphasised that this is the first time the newly hoisted dharma flag is witnessing the Pran Pratishtha anniversary of Ram Lalla. According to the Prime Minister, the flag stands as a symbol of India’s spiritual heritage and moral values, bearing witness to the sacred rituals on the twelfth day of the celebrations.
“It is my good fortune that last month I had the auspicious opportunity to participate in the sacred establishment of this flag,” he said, recalling his presence during the ceremonial hoisting of the dharma dhwaja.
Beyond the religious significance, the Prime Minister connected the occasion to India’s broader national vision. He expressed hope that the ideals embodied by Bhagwan Ram often revered as Maryada Purushottam would inspire citizens to strengthen values of service, dedication, and compassion.
“My wish is that the inspiration of the epitome of propriety may deepen the sentiment of service, dedication, and compassion in the heart of every citizen,” PM Modi said, adding that such values form a strong foundation for building a “prosperous and self-reliant India.”
