Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, today. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s focus on strengthening India’s research and innovation ecosystem.

In a significant boost to the country’s R&D landscape, the Prime Minister also launched the Rs 1 lakh crore Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund, aimed at promoting a private sector–driven research and development ecosystem in India.
The three-day conclave, held from November 3–5, 2025, brings together over 3,000 participants from academia, research institutions, industry, and government, including Nobel Laureates, eminent scientists, innovators, and policymakers.
Deliberations at ESTIC 2025 focus on 11 key thematic areas: Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Manufacturing, Blue Economy, Digital Communications, Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing, Emerging Agriculture Technologies, Energy, Environment & Climate, Health & Medical Technologies, Quantum Science & Technology, and Space Technologies.
The conclave features talks by leading scientists, panel discussions, presentations, and technology showcases, providing a platform for collaboration among researchers, industry leaders, and young innovators to further strengthen India’s science and technology ecosystem.
