Patna: Police in Rohtas has registered a case against Rashtriya Janata Dal [RJD] MLA from Dehri, Fateh Bahadur Singh, after receiving a complaint from a youth who approached the police, accusing the MLA and his companions for assaulting him.
As per reports, a group of villagers stopped the Dehri MLA who was on his way to Chilbili village to meet people on October 11. The villagers reportedly requested the MLA to visit a nearby temple and later started raising slogans against him.
It is being reported, that Singh remained seated in his vehicle and asked his bodyguards to remove the protestors. This led to a confrontation between the bodyguards of the MLA and the protesting villagers.
As the MLA’s bodyguards cleared the road, a protesting youth was allegedly pulled inside the vehicle which started moving forward by then. The youth identified as Rahul Kumar was later thrown out of the vehicle about 20 meters away, causing injuries to him.
