In Bihar’s Supaul district, a man named MD Javed has sparked widespread outrage on social media after allegedly posting content deemed offensive to Hindu sentiments. Javed, who refers to himself as a “President,” reportedly shared a morphed image of Maa Parvati, altering her traditional attire to depict her in a bikini, which many users found deeply disrespectful.

The post quickly went viral, sparking a wave of backlash across social media. Many users expressed outrage, questioning the perceived selective silence in cases involving disrespect toward Hindu deities. Followers of Sanatan Dharma demanded swift police action, stating that such offences against their faith would not be tolerated.

Numerous users tagged the Bihar Police and Patna Police, calling for strict legal measures against Javed. In response to the growing outrage, Bihar Police stated that they are in the process of tracing the source of the post to initiate appropriate legal action.

Social media remains flooded with anger, with one user stating, “This is absolutely shameful. MD Javed’s post mocking Bhagwan Shiva and Maa Parvati is an insult to Sanatan Dharma. It’s time to take a stand, he should be arrested without delay.”

Over the years, there have been multiple instances where Hindu deities have been insulted, leading to widespread public outrage. Comedian Munawar Faruqui was arrested in Madhya Pradesh for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Bhagwan Ram and Maa Sita during a stand-up performance. Similarly, in 2020, the web series Tandav faced massive backlash for a scene depicting Bhagwan Shiva in a manner many found offensive, forcing the makers to issue an apology and edit the content. In another incident, a fashion brand faced boycott calls after using images of Hindu gods in a controversial ad campaign. These repeated affronts have triggered strong reactions from followers of Sanatan Dharma.
