In a remarkable and significant initiative, BJP MLA Siddharth Shirole from Shivaji Nagar Constituency, Pune and Indraneel Chitale, Director of Chitale Group, have come up with ‘Arthasahit Sangh Prarthana’, an effort to make the meaning of the RSS Prarthana available in multiple languages to commemorate the centenary year of RSS formation.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will complete 100 years of its journey on October 2, 2025. The launch of this RSS Prarthana, with Hindi narration, will be done by Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur on September 27. This specially designed RSS Prarthana will reach citizens with narration in a total of 8 languages, including English, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, through YouTube and other media platforms.

“The Sangh Prarthana has been a part of my life since childhood. For me, it has always been more than just a prayer—it has been a source of discipline, strength, and inspiration. Its meaning is universal, and its energy timeless,” wrote Siddharth Shirole on X.

“As we mark the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, I felt it was the right moment to share this spirit with citizens in a way that truly touches their hearts. Along with my friend Indraneel Chitale, we embarked on ‘Arthasahit Sangh Prarthana’—the RSS prayer presented with its meaning in multiple languages, so that citizens, especially the younger generation from different regions and backgrounds, can understand and imbibe its essence,” he further wrote.

He also added, “This initiative is not just about translation—it is about seva and sanskar, about carrying forward values that unite us as a nation. It is about ensuring that future generations understand the timeless spirit of unity, discipline, and service reflected in the prayer.”

Notably, the concept is by Harish Bhimani. The Project lead & music director is Rahul Ranade. The Prarthana has been sung by National Award winner Shankar Mahadevan. The Hindi writing and narration is by Harish Bhimani, Marathi writing by Vivek Apte, and Marathi narration by Sachin Khedekar. Music arrangement is by Kamlesh Bhadkamkar, with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London. The recording was done at Abbey Road Studios (London) and Yash Raj Films Studios (Mumbai).

Notably, on the evening of September 27, 2025, path sanchalans will be held from three locations in Nagpur from Kasturchand Park, Yashwant Stadium, and Bharatiya Hockey Ground on Amravati Road. They will begin at 7:45 PM at Variety Chowk.
