Veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal has been conferred with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2023, India’s highest recognition in cinema. This accolade acknowledges his exceptional contributions to Indian cinema over a career spanning more than four decades. The award will be formally presented during the 71st National Film Awards ceremony in New Delhi on September 23, 2025.
