Reacting to the incident, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said “Action has been taken into the matter and three individuals including two minors have been arrested by police.”

Interacting with media personnel, Sharma also reacted to another incident from Durg where police personnel allegedly misbehaved with an Army jawan over putting a Bhagwa Dhwaj at his house.

The deputy CM informed that a team of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha [BJYM] will visit Durg and will hoist Bhagwa Dhwaj there. He noted that “such incidents will not be tolerated in the State.”

An altercation occurred in Mandchur village of Durg after two policemen allegedly asked an army jawan to put down the Bhagwa Dhwaj which he had installed at the top of his house on Saturday.

A video of the incident has also gone viral on the internet, where the said policemen could be seen indulging in an altercation with the army jawan. The matter got escalated after Hindu outfits demanded action against the policemen involved in the incident, warning for an agitation in case of inaction.
