The Bangladeshi intruders are breaking all norms, regulation and law in Assam and using fake documents to acquire Indian nationality. Such a dangerous fraud has come to light in the state. A Bangladeshi infiltrator acquired an Indian passport using documents of a dead person and with the help of a Miya family based in Hujai district of Assam.

As per report, the arrested Bangladeshi intruder is Abdul Kalam. He went to Doboka Murajhar Panchayat office to prepare a document where he has shown his passport with a Pakistani Visa. The Panchayat secretary doubted the person seeing his Pakistani Visa and immediately informed the police. He revealed that he acquired the Indian passport showing his as the son of Abdul Rauf of Hatikhuli village in the district. Police in its initial investigation found that the passport was issued on 13th November 2013 Passport no (F1515959). But the original Abdul Kalam died in 2006 while he was working in a coal mine in Meghalaya. The deceased man was the original son of Abdul Rauf of Hatikhuli village in Hujai district.

Abdul Latif, brother of deceased Abdul Kalam, met the Bangladeshi national in Delhi in 2010. Both came back to Hujai and initially created a PAN card (IBPLK5281D) for the Bangladeshi national using the forged name of late Abdul Kalam. Later he acquired Aadhar card no 3046 6338 5758 in the same name as Abdul Kalam.

It was revealed that the Bangladeshi national paid money to Abdul Rauf and his son Abdul Latif to get the identity of their deceased son Abdul Kalam. Accordingly the Bangladeshi national acquired PAN card, Aadhar card and passport as Abdul Kalam.

Police sources said that this is still under investigation whether the arrested person is a Bangladeshi or Pakistani national. Police will also investigate his travel history as there is a Pakistani Visa in his Indian passport. The Panchayat secretary who informed the police said that the person couldn’t speak Bengali or Assamese. He speaks only Urdu or Hindi. So I doubted him as his name is also not in the voter lists. The sensational case shocked the people as how fraudulently these infiltrators get Indian documents and what is his purpose to stay in Assam with forged documents? Whether he is a Pakistani spy and how many such people are there in the state is a matter of serious security concern.
