Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has issued a provocative statement inciting Muslims to wage war against India. Using its media wing As-Sahab, AQIS released a communally inflammatory statement declaring the Indian response to the Pahalgam massacre as an “attack on Pakistan and Islam.”
The message, saturated with radical rhetoric, attempts to brand the democratically elected BJP-led government as “saffron aggressors,” while completely ignoring the fact that the Indian airstrikes targeted known terrorist training facilities—not civilian infrastructure.
The statement falsely alleges that Indian jets targeted mosques and Muslim huts, a blatant fabrication meant to stoke religious unrest and distract from the real issue: Pakistan’s decades-long sheltering and nurturing of terrorist outfits operating against India.
AQIS further threatened that “every atrocity against Muslims will be avenged,” vowing to continue jihad against the Indian state. These threats mirror a growing frustration among global terror outfits, who are witnessing the steady dismantling of their infrastructure under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s uncompromising national security doctrine.

This comes after the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack that killed 26 innocent tourists mostly Hindus, India’s security forces launched a powerful counter-operation deep inside Pakistan-occupied territory, targeting and destroying nine terrorist camps. Operation Sindoor mission has not only decimated over 100 trained terrorists but has also shaken the core of jihadist networks sheltering under Pakistan’s patronage.
The Indian Armed Forces, in a meticulously coordinated aerial offensive involving over 80 fighter jets, struck key terror training centers across Muzaffarabad, Bhimber, Kotli, and Mirpur—regions long used by Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen to train recruits for attacks in Kashmir and across India.
Sources within the security establishment confirmed that the operation was carried out with surgical precision, avoiding civilian areas and focusing solely on targets verified through multiple layers of intelligence. High-definition satellite imagery and ground intelligence ensured minimal collateral damage.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in a hurried press briefing, admitted to the scale of the Indian offensive, claiming that his forces were “on high alert.” Yet, Pakistan’s inability to prevent the destruction of terror camps within its own borders has left it red-faced internationally.
The BJP-led government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has time and again proven that it will not remain a mute spectator to terrorism. From the Balakot airstrikes in 2019 to the recent Operation Sindoor, India has shifted its doctrine from reactive to proactive. The message is clear: India will strike first, strike hard, and strike deep.
The Home Ministry released a statement saying, “Terrorism has no religion. But terrorists who misuse religion to kill innocent civilians must be eliminated. India’s actions are justified, legal under international law, and necessary for national security.”
