On February 3, crores of devotees gathered for the Amrit Snan on Basant Panchami at the grand Mahakumbh, a sacred celebration of the Sanatan faith. Pilgrims from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, and various cities across Uttar Pradesh arrived at Prayagraj in the early morning to take a holy dip in Sangam.

Devotees, travelling thousands of kilometres, marvelled at the scale and divinity of Mahakumbh, calling it the most magnificent and well-organised event they’d ever seen. Grateful for the seamless arrangements, they thanked the Yogi government for ensuring a smooth, spiritually enriching experience. Many also refuted social media rumours, affirming their firsthand experience as proof of their falsehood.

Devotees express satisfaction with administration at Mahakumbh

The Amrit Snan on Basant Panchami attracted millions of devotees to Prayagraj. This sacred event, beginning with the auspicious Brahma Muhurta, sees devotees and Akharas participating in ritual baths at the Sangam, adding to its profound significance.

Devotees dismissed rumours circulating on social media about Mahakumbh as ‘baseless, and praised the seamless administration and the grandeur of the divine event, describing it as an unforgettable experience.

Ravi, a pilgrim from Hubli, Karnataka, expressed his appreciation, stating that all arrangements were excellent and there were no difficulties in performing the ritual bath. His fellow traveller, R Taksale, shared his excitement, calling Mahakumbh a memorable experience and eagerly anticipating the Amrit Snan of the Akharas.

Social media rumours proven false as devotees praise Mahakumbh arrangements

Aditya Shukla, who travelled nearly 3,000 kilometres from Mumbai, Maharashtra, to take a holy dip in the Sangam, expressed his appreciation for the seamless arrangements at Mahakumbh. He emphasised that he faced no difficulties reaching the Sangam bank and was in awe of the efficient management of such a massive spiritual gathering. He also extended his gratitude to CM Yogi Adityanath for ensuring a divine and grand Mahakumbh, celebrating Sanatan Dharma.

Similarly, Sahdev Ji from Maharashtra, who arrived with his family, including his 9-year-old son, described the event as divine and well-organised. He commended the police administration for their cooperative approach, stating that they faced no inconvenience while performing the holy bath in Sangam.

Vivek Rastogi from Lucknow reinforced these sentiments, affirming that the arrangements are completely systematic, allowing devotees to bathe without any hindrance. Dismissing social media rumours as baseless, he highlighted that crores of devotees are taking part in the sacred event peacefully, with no signs of disorder or difficulty.
