Bengaluru: In a significant political shift within Karnataka’s Congress party, MLA BR Patil has unexpectedly resigned from his position as Political Advisor to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, a decision that has sent shockwaves through the party ranks. Speaking to media in Kalaburagi, Patil stated, “My resignation from the post of political advisor to the Chief Minister is not a special development. It was something I should have done at some point, and I chose to resign yesterday.”
