Thousands of Hindus protested in Kerala to express solidarity with Hindus in Bangladesh, who have been fighting Islamic fundamentalist terrorists for their survival. The protests were organized by the Bangladesh Minorities Solidarity Council (Bangladesh Mata Nyoonapaksha Aikydardya Samiti).
Addressing the rally in Thiruvananthapuram, RSS Dakshin Kshetriya Karyavah M. Radhakrishnan stated that the atrocities taking place in Bangladesh are not confined to that country alone; they are part of imperialist designs aimed at weakening Bharat. He urged Hindus to remain vigilant, emphasizing that the atrocities against Hindus share a common pattern.
“When Muslims become restless, unhappy, or dissatisfied, they often target Hindu society, leading to genocidal violence,” he said. He pointed out that the violence in Bangladesh began with a specific court verdict, which, despite being withdrawn, escalated into an anti-Hindu genocide.

Radhakrishnan also drew parallels between the anti-CAA violence in Bharat and the events in Bangladesh. “CAA does not affect a single Muslim, yet death threats were issued against Hindus. Political parties, cultural leaders, media personalities, and so-called intellectuals will not stand against the anti-Hindu atrocities in Bangladesh. This silence is not new,” he noted.
He recalled the killing of eight Hindus in Maradu, Kozhikode, on May 2, 2003, stating that back then, leaders like K. Muraleedharan and Pinarayi Vijayan—Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President and CPM State Secretary, respectively—shared the dais to secure the Islamic vote bank and supported fundamentalists.
The RSS leader further remarked that global powers like the US and China have an interest in seeing Bangladesh as a weak country. “They are utilizing Jamaat-e-Islami to weaken the borders and push for disintegration. Even some retired bureaucrats have been bought over to serve this agenda,” he alleged.
Amid these challenges, groups of sanyasins have led Hindu agitations to defend against such atrocities. The rally featured several prominent speakers, including Swami Hariharananda, the head of Advaita Ashram in Kaladi, who delivered blessings. Dr. T.P. Senkumar IPS (Retd.), former state police chief, presided over the event. Other notable speakers included BJP state vice president Prof. V.T. Rama, Hindu Aikyavedi Thiruvananthapuram district president Kilimanoor Suresh, Tapasya district working president K.V. Rajendran, and Shaju Venugopal of Kerala Kshetra Samrakshana Samiti, who all addressed the gathering.

In Kollam, the rally was inaugurated by Swami Vivekanandamrita Puri of Amritanandamayi Math, with a keynote address by Bangladesh Minorities Solidarity Council Convener K.P. Haridas.
In Thodupuzha, the rally was inaugurated by RSS Dakshin Kerala Pranth Boudhik Pramukh P. Unnikrishnan.
In Malappuram, Hindu Aikyavedi State President R.V. Babu delivered the keynote address, while Swamini Bharathamruthaprana of Amritanandamayi Math, Manjeri, inaugurated the event.
In Pathanamthitta, RSS Dakshin Kerala Sahpranth Karyavah K.B. Sreekumar delivered the keynote address.
Similar solidarity rallies are scheduled in Kasaragod, Palakkad, Kannur, and Ernakulam on December 4, 2024.
Sanyasins Arrested: Human Rights Violation?
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Vichara Kendram, Kerala, condemned the arrest of sanyasins, calling it a blatant violation of human rights. Kendram Director R. Sanjayan criticized the arrest of ISKCON sanyasins on fabricated charges, claiming it was retaliation for their protests demanding protection for minorities, including Hindus.
He accused the Bangladesh government of failing to stop Islamic atrocities against minorities and alleged that the Mohammed Yunus regime is trying to subvert the Constitution to establish a theocratic state.
Sanjayan further asserted that Islamic terrorists have a hidden agenda to drive minorities out of Muslim-majority Bangladesh. He appealed to the Government of Bharat and international human rights organizations, including the United Nations, to take a firm stand against this sinister move.
