Jalandhar: Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak and head of all Vidya Bharati training programs in the north kshetra, Harsh Kumar, has passed away.

He was admitted to a hospital in Jalandhar on October 31 and departed for his heavenly abode around 6:20 PM on November 1 evening (Friday).

A native of Delhi, Harsh Kumar ji had served in key roles within Vidya Bharti and made significant contributions to the organisation.

Harsh Kumar ji was recently in Kurukshetra for Kshetriya baithak had left for Jalandhar yesterday. He played a pivotal role in advancing education and training efforts
in the schools of Vidya Bharti.

Previously, Harsh Kumar ji had served as the Sangathan nantri of Vidya Bharati, Haryana prant.

Vidya Bharati north-kshetra sangathan mantri expressed his grief, stating, “Harsh Ji suddenly left us all for his heavenly abode. May bhagwan provide strength to his family and fellow swayamsevaks to bear this irreparable loss.”

Sukhdev Vashisht, Vidya Bharati Punjab’s Prant sampark pramukh, said, “Harsh Ji selflessly served the nation and organisation for nearly 45 years. He left behind his home and family and dedicated himself to the welfare of society. As per his last wish, Harsh Ji’s organs will be donated.”

The public may pay their last respects on November 2, 2024, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Vidya Dham, Jalandhar.

His final rites are scheduled for 10:00 AM at Shiv Puri Surya Enclave, Jalandhar.
