Ramesh Agarwal’s journey from a humble rural background to Chairman is truly inspiring. Starting his career in the Air Force in 1980, he stood out as the “Best Airman” among 542 cadets during his training at MTI Chennai.

In 1987, Ramesh Agarwal transitioned to entrepreneurship, founding Agarwal Packers and Movers Ltd., a world record holder, and building a vast business empire with 1,600 owned vehicles, 140 branches across India, and operations in 182 countries. His innovative approaches have been studied at Harvard and IIMs. As a philanthropist, Rameshji established the APM Driver Nindra Daan Kendra for truck driver’s safety. He serves as President of Sewa Bharti, Delhi, Director of Samarth Bharat, and National President of the All India Transporters Welfare Association (AITWA), transforming countless lives with his dedication. His guiding  principle: “A strong and positive attitude creates more miracles than anything else.”

Exceptional Cadet

Ramesh Agarwal started his career as an Airman and joined Indian Mechanical Training Institute (MTI), Tambaram (Chennai) in 1980 which is not just popular among aspiring airmen in the country but hundreds of students from South East Asian countries to acquire flying and other technical and non- technical skills. Ramesh Ji was always fond of meeting challenging assignments and his hard work and dedication won him recognition and he was conferred the title of “Best Airman” and he outshone 542 other cadets to bag the Best Cadet Trophy.

Venturing out of Comfort Zone

In 1987, Rameshji decided to seek retirement and set out to become an entrepreneur. Sheer grit, determination, vision and leadership and innovative mindset drive in Ramesh Agarwal has helped him in setting up a vast empire as a business conglomerate comprising 1600 vehicles, 140 branches pan-India, international presence in 182 countries, 2.5 million sq. feet “state of the art” covered warehousing space and 15 million sq. feet open space and APML phenomenal market worth of Rs 2,000 crore.

Ramesh Agarwal’s innovations have led to case studies being conducted by institutions of repute like Harvard and IIM. His interactive discourses on “Motivation and Inspiration” has inspired upcoming budding talent in various Universities as IIMs, Sri Ram College, Geetanjali, SPJIMR, Jindal Global University and many others.

Compassionate Entrepreneur

Besides being an entrepreneur, Ramesh Agarwal is a great philanthropist. His iconic initiative for Indian Truck Drivers by commencing APM Driver Nindra Daan Kendra adds another feather of glory in his achievements. It is the great step wherein the drivers are given adequate sleep-“Nidra Daan” to save their precious lives from road accident that occurs due to lack of rest during the transit. Mr. Agarwal is National President of All India Transporters Welfare Association (AITWA). He is also the President of Sewa Bharti, Delhi and Director of Samarth Bharat wherein he works day and night to reach out to millions of lonely and oppressed people of our society, backing them and giving them strength to be self-reliant and fight for their well-deserved rights, providing them skills and training and make them entrepreneur and job givers. With his philanthropic approach, he is transforming the nation towards a better future. Till today, Ramesh Agarwal is a firm believer that a strong and positive attitude creates miracles.
