In a major development, recent reports confirm a match between the DNA of the victim and the primary accused, Sanjay Roy. This evidence was gathered through meticulous forensic testing conducted by the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL). The CFSL carried out separate DNA profiling on samples from the victim and the accused, as well as comparing the DNA with other seized evidence from the crime scene.
Sources indicate that the initial findings have been corroborated by CFSL experts, who have matched the DNA of Roy with biological material found at the scene.
