The importance of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch’s largest national council meeting can be assessed from the fact that it outlined the way forward to achieve Aatmanirbhar Bharat by 2047. Rashtriya Parishad Baithak not only saw participation from SJM members but also from workers associated with the

Self-Reliant India Campaign.

Three hundred and forty karyakartas participated in the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch’s largest-ever National Council meeting from June 28 to June 30. It also brought together a record number of 47 women, to chalk out future direction and outline strategies for the betterment of the nation. This landmark meeting was graced with the presence and guidance of honourable V Bhagayya, former Joint General Secretary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and current National Executive Member.

Enthusiasm for the meeting could be assessed from the fact it saw significant participation not only from SJM members but also from workers associated with the Self-Reliant India Campaign. Various organisations were represented, including Laghu Udyog Bharati, Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat, Sahakar Bharati, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Hindu Jagaran Manch, Environmental Activity, and Akshay Krishi Parivar. Additionally, the IID, Vakrangee Group, and Gayatri Parivar also took part in the proceedings.

The National Council unanimously decided to focus future programmes and activities on three core subjects: Swadeshi, Self-Reliance, and Research. Two significant proposals – “Impact of Population on the Economy” and “Prosperous and Great India by 2047” – were presented and passed unanimously.

Importantly, the meeting covered various core topics essential to both the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch and the Self-Reliant India Campaign. Discussions included engaging Bharatiyas worldwide in national development, laying stress on the Organic Path of Entrepreneurship and the Panch Transformation. The Council also prepared plans for upcoming activities, which included ideation and training classes, All-India Officer Visits, entrepreneurship Promotion Conferences, widespread Public Awareness for Organic Entrepreneurship and organising  Swadeshi Fairs.

Shri Ram’s Blessings

A notable highlight of the meeting was the divine and grand sight of Bhagwan Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, which filled all participants with renewed energy and inspiration. This visit was a source of great motivation as attendees departed to their respective destinations.

Following the National Council meeting, a three-day training session for full-time workers was held at Ayodhya, with 39 full-time workers participating. This session aimed to further equip and inspire the workers for their roles in the organisation.
