Thapan, aged 32, reportedly attempted suicide while in police custody and subsequently succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at Mumbai’s GT Hospital
Thapan, who was accused of supplying weapons to the shooters involved in the firing incident, reportedly attempted to end his life while in police custody. He was swiftly rushed to Mumbai’s GT Hospital, where medical personnel battled to save his life. However, despite their efforts, Thapan’s condition remained critical, ultimately resulting in his demise.
The incident that led to Thapan’s arrest occurred on April 14, when two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired four rounds outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area.
