Upon receiving the threats, school authorities promptly evacuated the premises, ensuring the safety of students, and alerted the Delhi Police. The police, along with fire tenders and the bomb disposal squad, swiftly responded to the situation, conducting thorough searches at each school. Despite the heightened security measures, no suspicious items were found during the searches.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the IP addresses used to send the threatening emails were traced outside India, possibly masked through a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The Delhi Police have launched an investigation into the matter to identify the perpetrators behind the threats.

This incident comes after a similar bomb threat call was received by Delhi Public School, RK Puram, earlier in February this year.
Authorities are conducting thorough inspections across all affected schools to ensure the safety of students and stakeholders. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South West, Rohit Meena, stated that multiple schools received bomb threat emails around 4:15 a.m., leading to swift action by the police.
Rohit Meena explained that after receiving the threatening email, authorities promptly decided to close the affected schools and send students back home, “We got information that the same email was sent to several schools at around 4:15 am. We took action and decided to close the schools and send the students back home. Checking is underway at all the schools, and our technical wing is investigating the email. Through the initial investigation, it seems that this is a mass email.”
DCP Meena urged students and parents to remain calm and assured them that all necessary precautions are being taken. “We are getting every school checked and are in contact with the school administration,” Meena said.
Responding to the situation, officials from various schools issued statements informing parents about the threat and urging them to collect their children from the premises. The schools emphasised that the safety and security of students remained their top priority, leading to the decision to close for the day as a precautionary measure.
DCP New Delhi, Devesh Kumar Mahla said, “We’ve checked all the schools and nothing has been found, there is no need to panic.”

Delhi Police stated that the threat emails followed a similar pattern observed in emails sent to multiple locations since the previous day. The absence of a dateline and the use of Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) indicated that the threats were widespread and systematic in nature.
While parents expressed concerns about the authenticity of the threats, authorities assured them that all necessary precautions were being taken to ensure the safety of students.
