This year, the job fair witnessed an overwhelming response, as there were over 3,000 students who enrolled for potential career opportunities. According to the estimations of the placement cell, the university expects to help substantial numbers of students find jobs this year.

Amidst the bustling atmosphere at the job fair, a notable cohort of 27 esteemed companies participated in the event and offered diverse job and internship opportunities. Among the registered students, approximately 1,000 were shortlisted by these companies on the last day of the job fair. This showcases a tangible outcome of the collaborative endeavour.

Professor Singh elaborated on this decision and said it’s really important to make sure things are done well and everyone knows what’s going on.

Through her voice we can feel the sentiments of numerous students who found the event both enlightening and empowering.

With more than 3,000 excited students attending, the job fair was a hub of talent, ambition, and new ideas. Students of all levels, from experienced seniors to fresh-faced freshmen, came from different academic backgrounds, reflecting DU’s strong academic diversity.

Having 27 respected companies join made the event feel important and meaningful. Each company had its own opportunities and career paths to offer, but some students wished more companies had participated. From multinational corporations to new startups, all were part of the job mela and provided lots of different opportunities that matched the interests and dreams of the students at DU.

Delhi University’s recent job fair was more than just finding a job. It represented a big change in how students grow, work together on new ideas, and strive for greatness.
