How Bharat has emerged as global giant under the Modi Government

If the electorate re-elect the Modi Government, then India is all set to surpass its competitor and not so friendly neighbour China and emerge as a new world powerhouse

This is a golden opportunity for Bharatiyas to re-elect the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance and give a huge number of seats to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bharat has grown rapidly in the technological sector, agriculture sector, defence sector, banking, highway infrastructure, tunnels, smart cities, IIT institutes, AIIMS, IIM institutes and many more, opening thousands of new ‘Make in India’ startups in the last decade. Now, India has the fifth-largest economy (4.112 trillion dollars).

EMERGING LEADER IN AI

According to Forbes India, the World Bank has predicted that in 2024, the Indian GDP will expand by 7.5 per cent. This can lead to significant benefits such as developing a manufacturing-friendly climate for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Research and development in AI are crucial and can be achieved. This is the reason why the youth of India always supports the Modi Government. The Modi Government plans to invest in AI-based technology over the next five years, as shown in a recent interview with Bill Gates, former co-founder of Microsoft, which can help boost our economy.

Currently, the world is investing billions of dollars in Artificial Intelligence for research and development. AI is used in every sector to increase productivity, including software, automobiles, hospitality, banking, defense, agriculture and other industries. It is important for professionals in any industry to learn AI now, as there is a risk of being replaced by AI engineers. The youth of India are actively seeking jobs that offer a minimum 40 per cent salary increase and an upgraded designation, which can be achieved through AI education.

GLOBAL MANUFACTURING HUB

The 2024 re-elected Modi Government will re-energise and hasten its aspirations to expand manufacturing and production capacity. In this circumstance, a variety of nations emerge as feasible manufacturing possibilities. Apart from India, global firms are looking at Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and Singapore as viable choices. India must take proactive steps to build a conducive climate for global manufacturing so that multinational organisations will see it as a reliable supply chain partner. This necessitates the development of a best-in- class manufacturing environment that provides efficient and well-trained labour, fosters innovation, facilitates company operations and safeguards intellectual property, offering lucrative agreements to international companies interested in establishing operations in India.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN AI ARE CRUCIAL AND CAN BE ACHIEVED. THIS IS THE REASON WHY THE YOUTH OF INDIA ALWAYS SUPPORTS THE MODI GOVERNMENT

India would gain from taking a 30-year retrospective to understand what the Chinese achieved in their rise to prominence as a global manufacturing powerhouse. Factors such as world-class infrastructure, logistics, total regulatory backing for the sector, and cheap labour wages aided China’s development. India may become the next global manufacturing powerhouse if it learns from its mistakes and establishes a favourable environment with a cluster of customers, suppliers, technology, and trained workers. Several sectors have recognised the disadvantages of being overly reliant on a single nation for production and are striving to widen their global reach. Still, China is a global manufacturing hub, and one-third of the world’s total production is produced by it. That dependency on manufacturing is not easy to replace for India. But in the future, there is a possibility that India could replace China. On the other hand, China’s 200 million people will lose skilled workers over the next few decades as a result of India’s increased opportunity as a global manufacturing hub and second-largest economy in the world.
